The Dalian Meteorological Observatory has issued a heavy rain warning for August 14!

From noon on August 14 to the morning of August 15, northern Jinpu New Area, Changxing Island Economic Zone, Pulan District, Wafangdian City, and Zhuanghe City are expected to experience heavy rainfall (50–100 mm), with some areas seeing very heavy rainfall (100–150 mm). In particular, certain townships or subdistricts in Pulan District and Zhuanghe City may see rainfall amounts as high as 150–250 mm. Meanwhile, Dalian city proper, southern Jinpu New Area, Lushunkou District, and Changhai County will experience heavy rain (25–50 mm), with some townships or subdistricts experiencing torrential rain (50–100 mm). The maximum hourly rainfall is expected to be between 40 and 60 mm.

Newly constructed berths within the open port area of Zhuanghe Port have passed acceptance and been put into operation.

On December 16, 2021, led by the Provincial Port Office and in collaboration with the Dalian Municipal People's Government Port Office, Dalian Customs, Liaoning Maritime Bureau, and the Liaoning Entry-Exit Frontier Inspection General Station, an acceptance team was formed to conduct the commissioning and acceptance inspection of the newly constructed berths within the open port area of Zhuanghe Port. The team approved the successful completion of the acceptance inspection for three newly built berths and submitted the approval to the provincial government. Sun Gongli, Deputy Secretary of the Zhuanghe Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, Su Changzhong, a member of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, along with representatives from relevant inspection agencies, attended the meeting.
