The Zhuanghe New Port Passenger Terminal is located within the Zhuanghe Port area, covering an area of 15.376 square meters with a building area of 7.210 square meters. It officially began operations on September 29, 2019.
The station complex primarily includes the passenger terminal building, boarding corridors, outdoor parking lot, plaza, and supporting facilities. Its annual passenger-handling capacity reaches 650,000 passengers. Currently, there are 11 vessels operating online, with a daily passenger volume of 2,800. The move into the new passenger terminal marks an upgrade in Zhuanghe Port’s services toward higher standards, modernization, and diversification, while also opening up new avenues for the development of passenger transport operations at Zhuanghe Port.

Zhuanghe Port International Passenger Terminal
Zhuanghe New Port Passenger Terminal is located within the Zhuanghe Port area, covering an area of 15.376 square meters with a building area of 7.210 square meters. It officially began operations on September 29, 2019.
The station complex primarily includes the passenger terminal building, an embarkation corridor, an outdoor parking lot, a plaza, and supporting facilities. Its annual passenger-handling capacity reaches 650,000 passengers. Currently, there are 11 vessels operating online, with a daily passenger volume of 2,800. The move into the new passenger terminal marks a step forward for Zhuanghe Port’s services toward higher standards, modernization, and diversification, while also opening up new avenues for the development of passenger transport operations at Zhuanghe Port.
The Zhuanghe New Port Passenger Terminal was first constructed in 2002 and began operations in April 2007. It is Zhuanghe’s first port passenger terminal, having launched three land-island transportation routes: Zhuanghe–Shicheng Island, Zhuanghe–Wangjia Island, and Zhuanghe–Shoulong Island. These routes have completely resolved the previous reliance on tidal conditions for passenger ship docking between Zhuanghe and the three islands. With the continuous development of island economies and the growing popularity of island tourism in recent years, the original Zhuanghe Port Passenger Terminal has become inadequate to meet the demands of land-island transportation. Thus, the new Zhuanghe Port Passenger Terminal has been established. The newly operational Zhuanghe Port Passenger Terminal offers comfortable, safe, convenient, and efficient travel options for both local residents and tourists visiting Zhuanghe. It also addresses the operational challenges faced by the former terminal, such as difficulties with parking, outdated facilities, and long distances to board ships.
Shicheng Port Passenger Terminal is located at Beizui Port in Shicheng Township, Zhuanghe. It covers an area of 7,130 square meters and has a building area of 2,254 square meters. Officially put into operation in September 2019, the terminal primarily includes the main passenger station building, an outdoor parking lot, a plaza, and supporting facilities. Its designed annual passenger capacity reaches 130,000 passengers. Construction of the Shicheng Port Passenger Terminal began in 2006, and it started operations in April 2008. As the first port passenger terminal in Shicheng Port, it operates three land-island transportation routes: Shicheng Island–Zhuanghe Port, Shicheng Island–Wangjia Island, and Shicheng Island–Shoulong Island. This terminal has completely resolved the previous situation where passenger vessels traveling between Shicheng Island and other islands depended on tidal conditions for docking.
