To promote and carry forward China’s outstanding traditional culture and fine family traditions, on the occasion of the 29th “International Family Day,” the Women’s Federation of Chengguan Subdistrict is hosting the 2022 “Childhood Hearts Turn to the Party—Together ‘Paint’ a Bright Future and Warmly Welcome the 20th National Congress” family-themed parent-child reading activity, taking concrete actions to advance the construction of civilized families in Chengguan Subdistrict.

To promote and carry forward China’s outstanding traditional culture and fine family traditions, on the occasion of the 29th “International Family Day,” the Women’s Federation of Chengguan Subdistrict is hosting the 2022 “Childhood Hearts Turn to the Party—Together ‘Paint’ a Bright Future and Warmly Welcome the 20th National Congress” family-themed parent-child reading activity, taking concrete actions to advance the construction of civilized families in Chengguan Subdistrict.
At the event venue, children, accompanied by their parents, took turns sharing their favorite picture-book stories. Some families even added role-playing elements to their presentations; the vivid and lifelike performances kept the children thoroughly engaged and captivated. Afterwards, everyone together visited the library and, under their parents’ guidance, read books they loved. Following the story-sharing session, the children also showcased their talents—singing, dancing, reciting poetry... As continuous rounds of applause filled the room, the atmosphere gradually reached a climax. These warm interactions, expressions, and discussions not only sparked intellectual exchanges between parents and children but also fostered deep emotional connections and mutual understanding.
Parents expressed that this event has provided children with opportunities to share their reading experiences and showcase their talents, helping them further develop positive thoughts, good character, and healthy habits. It allows the seeds sown by reading activities to sprout, blossom, and bear fruit, enabling us all to build book-loving families and civilized, healthy households together.
The Women’s Federation of Chengguan Subdistrict will continue to carry out a series of activities under the theme “Women’s Hearts Turn Toward the Party—Warmly Welcoming the 20th National Congress.” We believe that, under the leadership of the Municipal Women’s Federation and with coordinated efforts among women’s federations at all levels in the subdistrict, the vast majority of women and children will rally even more closely around the Party and greet the successful convening of the 20th National Congress with concrete actions.
