On July 4, Shen Shoubó, Secretary of the Zhuanghe Municipal Party Committee, led a team to conduct a supervisory inspection of our city’s epidemic prevention and control efforts as well as the management of fishing vessels and ports at sea. Vice Mayor Zhu Qinghui participated in the inspection.

That day, Shen Shoubó and his delegation first visited the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital. They carefully inspected areas such as the pre-screening and triage zone, the emergency ward, and the mobile cabin laboratory. They listened attentively to briefings on epidemic prevention and control measures as well as medical service provisions, and paid a visit to and extended their heartfelt greetings to the medical staff on site. Shen Shoubó pointed out that we must fully recognize the special importance of pregnant and postpartum women and children, and earnestly carry out all epidemic prevention and control tasks with even higher standards, stricter requirements, and more meticulous measures, firmly safeguarding the bottom line of epidemic prevention and control. We must always adopt an attitude of utmost responsibility for the health and safety of women and children across the city, further strengthen medical service guarantees during routine epidemic prevention and control, and ensure that neither epidemic prevention nor medical services are compromised.

At the Xiaohedong Community in Xingda Subdistrict and the epidemic prevention and control traffic service station at Zhuanghe East Station on the expressway, after conducting on-site inspections and gaining a thorough understanding of the situation, Shen Shoubó emphasized that all prevention and control measures must be implemented meticulously and rigorously in accordance with the requirements of the latest COVID-19 prevention and control plan. We must continuously enhance the scientific nature and precision of our epidemic prevention efforts, firmly guard the community’s “defense line,” strictly control transportation checkpoints, and ensure the health and safety of the general public. We need to step up publicity and guidance, strengthen precise screening and identification, implement targeted management, and weave a tighter protective net within communities. Furthermore, we should continue to optimize the workflow of inspection and control procedures at traffic service stations, adopting scientific and efficient working methods to build a solid barrier against imported cases.

Upon entering Dalian Yihe Food Co., Ltd., Shen Shoubó carefully examined the epidemic prevention and control measures at key operational stages of the company via the video surveillance system. Shen Shoubó pointed out that epidemic prevention and control for cold-chain foods is a top priority in our city’s ongoing pandemic response efforts. It is essential to firmly hold enterprises accountable for their primary responsibilities, strengthen local management responsibilities and the regulatory duties of relevant functional departments, strictly enforce all prevention and control requirements, implement full-chain management, and ensure that epidemic prevention measures are foolproof.

On that day, Shen Shoubó and his delegation also went to Natural Harbor No. 2 in Chengguan Subdistrict and the onshore detention site for fishing vessels to conduct supervisory inspections. Shen Shoubó emphasized that it is essential to fully implement the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government as well as the Dalian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, coordinate and effectively carry out tasks such as ensuring safe production at sea and epidemic prevention and control, firmly assign and enforce work responsibilities, establish and improve working mechanisms, adhere to the combination of human-based and technology-based prevention measures, step up inspection and control efforts, ensure that no vessel is overlooked and no person is left behind, and comprehensively strengthen and solidify the maritime epidemic prevention and control defense line against imported cases, thereby resolutely safeguarding our city’s fisheries production order and maritime safety and stability.
